#it was jadzia’s idea #bashir discovers stage fright #worf adds a musical number #quark tries to sell merchandise but gets roped into performing #leeta discovers a hitherto unknown acting talent and steals the stage #jake and nog get stuck set painting #… in an COMPLETELY UNRELATED development they later decide to go for a minimalist approach and dispense with sets altogether #kira refuses to participate but falls victim to Jadzia’s wheedling and performs- blushing- in a furious monotone #odo agrees all too easily but gets out of performing by being the props #garak does costumes. Bashir’s pants end up suspiciously tighter than everyone else’s. Garak claims a measuring error. #sisko conveniently finds himself inundated with starfleet paperwork and can’t possibly take part but promises to be in the front row #rom is on lights and sound. it’s universally agreed by the audience that the lights and sound were the best part of the production #okay I’ve run out of ideas now
